The University of Michigan Ross School of Business released its MBA essays and deadlines for 2014-15 i.e. the Class of 2017 on June 04, 2014. The school has revamped its essays altogether. As opposed to its previous three essay questions spanning 950 words, the school now has two essay questions spanning 800 words. The application will go live by July 15 2014.

Essay #1: What are you most proud of professionally and why? What did you learn from that experience? (400 words)

Essay #2: What are you most proud of personally and why? What did you learn from that experience? (400 words)

Ross Reduces Recommendation Count To One

Soojin Kwon, Director of Admissions, announced reducing letters of recommendation to one. This letter needs to be from a current direct or immediate past supervisor. These questions would be the same as Harvard, Stanford and Wharton.

Question #1: How do the candidate’s performance, potential, or personal qualities compare to those of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? Please provide specific examples. (300 words)

Question #2: Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicants. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response. (250 words)
