Career centers at business schools, or any university for that matter, hold the utmost importance for students. The first step towards landing a job or an internship at a reputed company, Career Centers play the vital role of developing relationships with prospective employers and bringing them on board to hire MBA graduates.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve focused on the career centers at a number of business schools including Harvard Business School, London Business School and the Olin Business School. Today we take a look at UCLA Anderson School of Management’s career center, the Parker Career Management Center, which is consistently ranked as the top career center in student satisfaction by The Economist, and has a 100% record when it comes to helping students secure internships.

Oumar Toure, an MBA graduate from UCLA Anderson from the class of 2018 talks about how Parker CMC helped him land a consultant’s job at BCG.

Parker has a really well structured program for students recruiting for consulting, you just need to “trust the process.” I definitely took advantage of the 1-on-1 sessions to test my answers to behavioral interview questions and to make sure my resume and cover letters were in great shape.
